How many of you actually believe that you evolved from an animal?

Yes, I believe very much that we evolved from animals.

Why?

Because science has proven it.

Now, le me ask you a question, based on oher questions and answers you’ve written.

You believe the story written in he Bible that God created everything in 6 days, and on the 7th day he rested, and that God gave man dominion over the Earth.

In the story of Noah, God saved Noah and his family, and 2 of every creature on an ark. Based on a 20.4-inch cubit, our life-size Noah’s Ark measures 510 feet long, 85 feet wide, and 51 feet tall. The Ark’s volume is approximately 1.88 million cubic feet, which would hold about 450 18 wheelers (both cab and trailer.) That’s pretty big, but here’s a few issues. All he different kinds of dinosaurs wouldn’t fit, nor the sabertooth cats, wooly rhinos, and all the other large mammals and reptiles we know existed. How do we know they existed? Because we have the fossil record.

However, let’s ignore those, and act like they don’t exist.

That amount of volume would NOT hold every animal we know of today, including those that have gone extinct in the last 500 years, which humans have documented. And remember, 500 years ago it was 1524, so we’re talking in the middle of he Renaissance. The question I have for you is at the very end. I’m interested if you can/will answer it.

Between all the animals alive today, and those who have gone extinct in JUST the last 500 years, not all of them would fit on Noah’s Ark.

So, where did they come from?

How many of you actually believe that you evolved from an animal?

Atheists, when I’m trying to help you and convert you to Christianity, I need you to actually meet me halfway. Sometimes not even halfway, maybe just 30% of the way but you guys aren’t even prepared to do that! What do you have to say for yourselves?

I’m not an atheist, but I’m going to answer this question, because the utter audacity of the questioner cracks me up.

Atheists do not believe in any deity, supernatural force, supernatural beings, magic, etc.

You’re NOT trying to help them, you’re trying to force your beliefs on them, while at the same time disrespecting theirs.

Why should they convert when you disrespect them?

Now, I want you to stop and think about how YOU would feel if someone completely dismissed and disparaged your ideology, was disrespectful towards you, and told you that you are wrong, that you’re going to hell and to burn for eternity unless you convert?

Maybe we should find out?

Ok, Christians believe Jesus was:

The son of God

The Messiah.

Christianity is based on the premise that Jesus fulfilled the Messianic prophecies in the Old Testament, that Jesus met all the qualifications to be the Messiah, and that Jesus created a New Covenant between God and Man and that this new Covenant superseded the one God made with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Christianity also believes that only those who believe in Jesus, openly confirm that Jesus is their lord and savior, confess their sins and are baptized will go to Heaven and that ALL others go to Hell to be tortured and tormented for all Eternity.

Now, I’m going to prove Christianity is false, that it is based completely on lies, and that Jesus could not be the Messiah, not could he be God, nor the son of God. And you’re going to get all pissed off because I’m “attacking” Christianity. Well, I’m not, I’m just proving it wrong, using your own books, AND the originals of the Old Testament.

Ok, so from the top:

Jesus cannot be the son of God, nor can God be split into God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Why? In every single Commandment, God refers to himself using singular pronouns. When Moses asked God what his name was, God replied, “I am”. He also stated, “I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” The Commandments, such as the 1st Commandment states, “I am the Lord your God who led you out of Egypt to be your God”, the 2nd Command States, “You shall have no others gods besides Me.” ALL of these are singular, not plural pronouns. Additionally, God is supposed to be infinite and omnipresent (everywhere at once). If Jesus was the son of God, as God imparted a part of himself into Mary, then God is finite, not infinite. If God isn’t infinite, he can’t be everywhere at once, nor know everything. Also, let’s look at the “Immaculate Conception”, which means that Mary was immaculate, which means without sin, and therefore Jesus was also sinless. However, Christianity believes ALL humans are born in sin, because of the “original sin” of Adam and Eve. So, Mary cannot be born sinless, nor could Jesus. And if Jesus is born with sin, he cannot be divine, as God is supposed to be perfect and without sin.

Now, Christians believe Jesus is the Messiah based on passages from the Old Testament. The problem is, these passages were ALTERED to point to Jesus. The original passages do not do so. Here are examples:

Zechariah 12:10 − The Hebrew Tanakh: “and they shall look upon me whom they have stabbed/ thrust through [with swords”)

The King James Version of Zechariah changes one word [stabbed] to “pierced.”

BUT John 19:37 (New Testament) misquotes Zechariah to change the entire meaning by saying, “They shall look on him (instead of ME) whom they pierced.”

Isaiah 7:14 − The Hebrew Tanakh says “Therefore, the Lord, of His own, shall give you a sign; behold, the young woman (alma) is with child, and she will bear a son and she shall call his name Immanuel.”

**Take note, this was written in the present tense.

But the Greek Septuagint changed “alma,” saying “Behold, a virgin shall be with child and shall bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (Matthew 1:22-23). The church changed the entire verse from present to FUTURE tense and then went further to change the Hebrew alma, meaning a young woman to virgin.

Isaiah 9:5 − The Hebrew Tanakh reads: “For a child has been born to us, a son has been given us and authority has settled on his shoulders. He has been named “The Mighty G-d” Isaiah was referring to King Hezekiah, son of Ahaz.

Again, in an attempt to insert a Jesus prophecy, the KJV changed the tense from the present to the future, making it, “A child is born, a son is given and the government shall be upon his shoulder and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, the Mighty G-d”. [In Hebrew Hezekiah means “the mighty G-d.”]

So we see, quite obviously, that in numerous cases, Christianity altered Scripture to point to Jesus and that the original does no such thing.

But what about the ACTUAL Messianic prophecies?

Specifically, the Bible says he will:

Build the Third Temple (Ezekiel 37:26-28).

Gather all Jews back to the Land of Israel (Isaiah 43:5-6).

Usher in an era of world peace, and end all hatred, oppression, suffering and disease. As it says: “Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall man learn war anymore.” (Isaiah 2:4)

Spread universal knowledge of the God of Israel, which will unite humanity as one. As it says: “God will be King over all the world – on that day, God will be One and His Name will be One” (Zechariah 14:9).

If an individual fails to fulfill even one of these conditions, then he cannot be the Messiah.

So, how did Jesus fail to fulfill the Messianic prophecies?

Well, Jesus lived while the 2nd Temple still stood, therefore he didn’t build the 3rd Temple. Jesus didn’t usher in an era of world peace, nor did Jesus spread universal knowledge of the God of Israel, otherwise we’d all believe the same.

Christians counter that Jesus will fulfill these in the Second Coming. Jewish sources show that the Messiah will fulfill the prophecies outright; in the Bible no concept of a second coming exists.

Earlier I spoke of the personal qualifications of the Messiah, but what are they?

A. Messiah as Prophet

The Messiah will become the greatest prophet in history, second only to Moses. (Targum – Isaiah 11:2; Maimonides – Teshuva 9:2)

Prophecy can only exist in Israel when the land is inhabited by a majority of world Jewry, a situation which has not existed since 300 BCE. During the time of Ezra, when the majority of Jews remained in Babylon, prophecy ended upon the death of the last prophets – Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi.

Jesus appeared on the scene approximately 350 years after prophecy had ended, and thus could not be a prophet.

B. Descendant of David

Many prophetic passages speak of a descendant of King David who will rule Israel during the age of perfection. (Isaiah 11:1-9; Jeremiah 23:5-6, 30:7-10, 33:14-16; Ezekiel 34:11-31, 37:21-28; Hosea 3:4-5)

The Messiah must be descended on his father’s side from King David (see Genesis 49:10, Isaiah 11:1, Jeremiah 23:5, 33:17; Ezekiel 34:23-24). According to the Christian claim that Jesus was the product of a virgin birth, he had no father – and thus could not have possibly fulfilled the messianic requirement of being descended on his father’s side from King David.

Additionally, Jesus was a Jew, and Judaism is patrilineal, which means you inherit your tribe and ancestry through your father, so Mary’s lineage means nothing. Judaism also states that you cannot be ADOPTED into a tribe. Your biological father determines your tribe and ancestry, so Joseph’s lineage also means nothing.

C. Torah Observance

The Messiah will lead the Jewish people to full Torah observance. The Torah states that all mitzvot remain binding forever, and anyone coming to change the Torah is immediately identified as a false prophet. (Deut. 13:1-4)

Throughout the Christian “New Testament,” Jesus contradicts the Torah and states that its commandments are no longer applicable. For example, John 9:14 records that Jesus made a paste in violation of Shabbat, which caused the Pharisees to say (verse 16), “He does not observe Shabbat!”

So, Jesus failed to fulfill all the requirements AND personal qualifications to be the Messiah.

And to make it worse, Jesus contradicted God, numerous times. For examples:

“You can only come to the Father through the Son” according to Jesus. According to God, NO intermediary between God and Man will ever be needed.

Only one who believes in Jesus, confesses with his mouth that Jesus is his lord and savior, who has confessed his sins, and who has been baptized will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, according to Christianity. According to God, ALL may enter his Kingdom of Heaven, even those who aren’t Jews, and atheists can enter, if they’re righteous. So, what does righteous mean? For Jews it means they must observe all 613 of God’s Commandments (minus those that don’t apply, such as the Commandments about menstruation don’t apply to me as I’m not a woman). For non-Jews? They must observe the 7 Noahide Laws (7 Laws of Noah). Further it is stated that all who die go to Sheol, a grey, misty place full of the souls of the dead. Those who are righteous go straight to Heaven, but the rest of us are shown our screw ups, given a chance to fix them (atone), and if we do, we go to Heaven. Those who revel in their screw ups, or hate, or evil DO NOT get tortured or tormented in Hell, eventually their souls fade out of existence, but if at any time before that they wish to atone or feel remorse, the fading stops and they also have eternity to make it right.

Now, let’s discuss a few tenets of Christianity….

Sin. Well, we all know what sin means, right? You did something wrong and you’re a bad/evil person and you better confess or you’re going to hell, right?

WRONG.

The word that Christianity translates as “sin”, “chatta’bah” is an archery term that means “miss the mark”. NO evil connotations. You made a mistake, one that is fixable by practice and being mindful so you don’t do it again.

Hell: Christians believe that some of God’s angels rebelled, lost, then God threw them into the pit of Hell filled with fire, brimstone, ash, etc to torture and torment the sinners forever.

However, there is NO mention of Hell, an angelic rebellion, Lucifer, the Devil or Satan in the original version of the Old Testament. Here’s an example:

Psalm 16:9-10 − (KJV) “Therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope. (10) For thou will not leave my soul in hell, neither will you suffer thine Holy One to see corruption”. Why not continue to the next verse? Christians can not because David wasn’t talking about Jesus; David was talking about himself. (Psalm 16:11) “You will show me the path of life, in your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”

Psalm 16:9-10 in the Hebrew Tanakh says “Therefore, my heart rejoiced and my soul was glad; even my flesh shall dwell in safety. (10) For You shall not forsake my soul to the grave; You shall not allow Your pious one to see the pit.”

Where is ‘Hell’, and ‘Corruption’ as the New Testament stated? It did not exist! .

The Hebrew translation of Psalm 16:10 tells of David again talking to God, rejoicing that God will not forsake his soul to the grave. While David is alive he will dwell in safety because God will protect his flesh from injury, and G-d will show him the way. Does verse 11 relate to Jesus? If Jesus is part of the godhead, as Christians say, how can G-d show him the way?

There is “Ha-satan” in the original. It means Adversary or Prosecutor (like the District Attorney in a criminal case). It is used EXACTLY 3 times. Twice an angel of God attempts to “prosecute” a devout man, telling God something like, “He only worships you because of all you’ve given him”, God responds, “Ok, prosecutor, put your money where your mouth is, take away all those things, and we’ll see if he remains devout or becomes hateful towards Me.” Think of the story of Job.

The 3rd time Ha-satan is used to describe an Edomite General making was on the Israelites. He’s human, obviously, so no Lucifer, no Satan, no Devil, no Hell, no Christian sin.

So, why did I say Christianity is based on lies, and is therefore a false religion? Because Jesus fulfilled NONE of the Messianic prophecies, did NOT embody the personal requirements to be the Messiah, because in order to try to point to Jesus to be the Messiah, Christians had to alter the Jewish Tanakh, the original material, in order to create the Old Testament. And if THAT isn’t bad enough, they keep altering the Christian Bible, adding things.

Examples: between the oldest known Bible, the Sinai Codex, and the KJV.

The Markan Resurrection
(Mark 16: 1–14)

King James Version

1 “And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.
2 And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.
3 And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?
4 And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.
5 And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.
6 And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
7 But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.
8 And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were afraid.
9 Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.
10 And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.
11 And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.
12 After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country.
13 And they went and told it unto the residue: neither believed they them.
14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

Oh look, they added 12 additional lines!

The Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:9–13)

King James Version

9 Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Codex Sinaiticus

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name,
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be
done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we
forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,

The woman caught in adultery (John 7:53–8:11)

King James Version

7:53 And every man went unto his own house.
8:1 Jesus went unto the mount of Olives.
2 and early in the morning he came again
into the temple, and all the people came
unto him: and he sat down, and taught them
3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,
4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?
6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.
7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.
9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

And so on and so on.

So, questioner, how does it feel when the shoe is on the other foot?
